TRU Chatswood has re-stocked, ready for the catalogue beginning this weekend. Of course they now have less, since I visited, but still plenty. Not that this really matters since Richie and I are probably the only two Lugnetters close enough to care. It’s prolly a good guide for other TRUs though.

Whilst here I went to Kmart and Target as well. Kmart is on sale now, new SW mini sets, $80 Leo’s castle, world city police (who needs more police? really?) NHL sports bottles, new bionicle, $50ish Sopwith Camels and the racing track set I haven’t seen elsewere (with free racers watch even). Target starts their sale in 8 days time (or so the sign says). Here’s hoping for Fort Legoredos on sale, say perhaps half price (i.e. $80 rather than $160). Constellation pales in comparison to 10040 (or 6285 or whatever) especially at non-sale price. Nothing newer at Target, but the “girly” HP sets with cardboard backgrounds are back in stock. I apologise to Duplo/explore fans, I think there may have been new stuff, but I didn’t look (nor would be able to really tell...). P.S. Big W has Dumbledors office $50, Bionicle 3packs $20ish and some HTO/Impulse sets $3ish, but not much else.

James (who’s done his shopping for the month, or at least until Target’s sale)

(...) I too visited Target and saw a similar sign. And what did it make me do? Instead of spending some money on Lego as I might have done, instead I think "maybe I'll wait for the sale in case the things I want might be cheaper". Now human nature (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) It certainly is - TRU in Northland(VIC) has turned up a big stack of both the RB and BSB, at $49 and $99 respectively. (...) Well, with a wealth of cool parts I'm not complaining.
