Provisional Details for the next fest.
When?
Either Sat 7 Dec. or Sun 8 Dec. whichever is the least inconvient for the
most people (or most inconvienent for the least number of people or >>whatever).

Probably 8th, though if people want to do lunch in the city on Sat. the 7th?

What?
Honey I shrunk the Bricks!
Inspired by the ISD and the forthcoming SW Mini sets...
Bring along your microfig scaled creations! No minifigs allowed!

But what about microfig scale mecha?

I'd thought of that, (the game below). Of course we're not going to kick you
out if you bring a minifig or minifig scale model, just trying to provide an
excuse for me not to have built anything large.

What else?
I thought this was fun, Mechaton
http://www.septemberquestion.org/lumpley/mecha.html
If people are interested I can gather everything together (dice, scenery,
some mecha) and we can play. Bring your own death-machine for even more fun!

... and don't forget Cathedral! ;-)

I hadn't, but if Andrea comes along I'm NOT playing with her. Something like
that has trouble written all over it.

(Should we begin long and detailed debate over standards for minifig scaled
cathedral modules yet?)

My suggestions.
One square = 16x16 baseplate.
Minimum one stud offset on each edge required. (no overhang into this space
either)
Build on baseplate or plates.
No need to baggs what you want to build. (but if we're trying for a full set
it'll take a while and several builders)
Colour denoted by flag attached to roof (no need to build in a particular
colour scheme).
We can add grey 4xN plates (and maybe wider in places)inbetween to do roads
if we're playing brikwars or leave them out if playing cathedral.

Feel free to debate...

If you've no idea what we're talking about, see

(...) better bet. Although that would then permit an overhang above 1 story (sixish bricks) James (who is wondering how to incorparate a river into the town) (22 years ago, 17-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.au)
