  Re: Shell sets

(...) These are starting to arrive up here in the YooEss (but I'm not sure if they are the same ones). I would be willing to pick a few up and pass them along at my cost (provided I ever SEE any of the darned things, and that they're the same ones) (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  RE: Shell sets

I think you'll find that Shell Aust, like LEGO Aust [and just about everything else Aust] will only find out about this sort of thing AFTER we hear on lugnet about it in Europe. [I have no idea why they like keeping Aus in the dark...Could be they (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: I have an idea... (regards the range of sets we get)

(...) Sorry for the setname abbreviation, but I like the sound of FNF as an abbreviation, similar to BSB, SES or RBR (the names must be deliberate palindromes). The FNF is one of my favourite sets and one day when the demise of the Ninja theme sets (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Shell sets

I decided to do as was suggested in an earlier post and contact Shell re. the chance of us seeing any more Lego promo sets down here in Oz. Here is the reply I received: Thank you for contacting the Shell Online Web Site. I regret to inform that (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  RE: Megabloks in Aus

Well...the bad news is that Toyworld is now their SOLE distributor in Australia. This means that when TRU, etc's stocks run out, they won't be getting any more in. [Or at least that's what I was told.] Benjamin Whytcross (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Megabloks in Aus

(...) Ah !!! Ritvik Megabloks. My post in off-topic clone brands regarding the forming of Rugnet was marked down and summarily ignored. But as my fellow studlies will agree I have a fondness for the Canadian cloneblok. In fact if you look closely at (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  LEGO, you've got mail.

After some deliberation, here is a useful bit of information. The LEGO Australia shed sports nifty computers, connceted to the world. I knew that you say, well, to talk to them use Customer Service (and spares and ...) barbara.bell@asia.lego.com or (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Young Obi Wan (was Re: Studs site)

(...) Ouch! The pin prick of humility! I would have thought you'd grabbed a 7161 by now, particularly at under $60. Grey plates, grey and blue slopes, another Jar- Jar for the BBQ... it's got it all, plus a snazy manta-ray to add to the organic (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

Re: This is the Admiral culling...

Peter Callaway wrote in message ... (...) Mmmm. I saw this and assumed the ;-) after the *really* not knowing what to do suggested mild sarcasm. Then again, I have had this particular (BSB) chain pulled entirely too often - it may be broken. What (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Young Obi Wan (was Re: Studs site)

Peter Callaway wrote in message ... (...) Pretty much ;-) (...) You know, I was feeling pretty confident that one way or another, I would be able to cobble together just about any fig in the legoverse. Get behind me pride! Leave me be conceit! No (...)
