Recently Myer had a 20% off sale on Lego (or was it all toys ? I can't remember, but I was only interested in the Lego ;) Before the sale, they had the MTT going for $82 or so (a little above other places, e.g. Big W at around $80, but not bad). Lo (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Hi there, Lego collecting has recently been revived from my childhood and so I'm new to Lugnet. The themes I'm interested in are Castle and Pirate. I'm not sure if I've seen this item mentioned, but the 8462 blue Technic tow truck is on sale at TRU for $131.00. I seem to recall that David Drew recommended buying it for under $200, so this seems like a pretty good price. Have fun finding one (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
