(...) I've built a forge/smith type thingy (16x32) and some other buildings. I've assembled a squad of milita and am working on the "finding the King" rules. (...) There are two main ways of pricing, one is to make a guess as to what sets are likely to be in it based on clues and price using some fraction of their value (to account for likely incompleteness, damaged pieces, etc.). This is a good way to (...) (25 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Rule on thumb on pricing of assorted Lego pieces

(...) If they are 'complete' sets with instructions, they are of course worth more. ebay sellers usually go by the pound for bulk assorted, depending on the size. Old style windows, doors and trees would increase the value as well. Lots of (...) (25 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

RE: Rule on thumb on pricing of assorted Lego pieces

Well, the only non-AFOL info I can give is based on a second-hand toy-shop near work...they charge between $100 and $200 for a container approx 1'x1'x1' [Of course, the seller only gets 50% of the sale price...they sell on consignment] I'm actually (...)
