Re: Paypal and the class action

(...) I think that story is going arount for a long time. I've seen something like what you describe more than a year ago. I've had a issue once, a bank funding transfer of about 80 EURO to my Paypal account went missing inside Paypal, during the (...) (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.market.services)

Re: Paypal and the class action

(...) IANAL, but as far as I can see its important if you had some bogus transactions on your account and/or found PayPal unhelpful in your efforts to understand what was on your account. I am a happy camper too. Nothing in it for us I think. And (...) (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Paypal and the class action

I presume I am not the only person who got some incredibly long email about Paypal and a class action. However, is there anyone (unlike me) who managed to read through the whole thing and would care to offer some short answers as to: * what's it (...) (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Port Brique Welcomes Careful Navigators (The next Sydney meet).

Due to the temporary relocation of Port Brique, the annual Bastille Day Regatta was postponed, and has been rescheduled to St Sabina's Day (29 August) 04, from about noon onwards. (Whether that's 1804, or 2004, really depends on your perspective). (...) (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Re: B1,Duplo and National Geographic

(...) Well, There was an interesting reference to Lego in the Penny Arcade strip last year. I've got a link, but be warned, it's for adult audiences. (oh, and the comic writers were hauled over the coals by Lego fans for using the term Legos not (...) (20 years ago, 1-Aug-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: B1,Duplo and National Geographic

(...) Well, if you want obscure references to LEGO, last week's episode of AB Fab had Patsy make a reference to LEGO and Legoland, but (not surprsingly) it was a sexual reference so I don't think I should describe it here... :-) Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi (...)   B1,Duplo and National Geographic

The February 1988 edition of National Geographic (Vol. 173, NO. 2) was wholly devoted to things Australian, due to the Bicentennial activities of that year. On page 191 there is a photo of the Prime Minister of the time, Bob Hawke, described in the (...) (20 years ago, 1-Aug-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: New eastern venue for MUGS?

(...) Just to clarify, the dance classes will only use half the hall (where we normally set up train layout), so the rest is still available unless it's booked by someone else, which it happens to be on the 22nd. So we can continue to use it, I'm (...) (20 years ago, 1-Aug-04, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)

Re: New eastern venue for MUGS?

(...) The best bet would be to look at your local Neighbourhood house/community house, as these venues are generally cheaper than a hall. Failing that, Craigieburn meetings could be moved to mid-term if there is a possibility of Amaroo in school (...) (20 years ago, 31-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)

A little clone heresy for the broadminded...

Hi all, My heretical leanings are well known, and as a general rule I keep them discretely clear of the respectable folk here in .loc.au. That said, I have posted a Port Block Yards page that touches on a few of the Mega Bloks sets, that might be of (...) (20 years ago, 31-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Skeletons are Minifigs too

Re: New eastern venue for MUGS?

(...) Well, I guess that we are going to need to find a community group that has a centre like Armaroo. And aren't to strict with the costs too. Having only been in Melbourne for a year I don't really have any idea of a place like this. Leg Godt (...) (20 years ago, 31-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)

  New eastern venue for MUGS?

Hi all, Some bad news. Unfortunately, the Amaroo Centre now has dance classes permanently booked on Saturdays and Sundays, so we probably won't be able to continue using it for our MUGS meetings. Does anyone know anywhere else in east/southeast (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)
