| | Model Team RIP.... why?
|
| Dear Jake, Brad and other TLC representatives, I just noticed that Model Team has now completely disappeared from the s@h site. I just wonder why... I can understand that after all the trucks and other cars (okay, there was a boat and a helicopter (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jun-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.modelteam)

| | Brad: Sugestion for 6067
|
| Brad: The Guarded Inn is a very neat small building. LEGO may be able to boost sales if you post an alternative design on the web somewhere that is a larger building built from 2 or more of these sets. Some AFOL may want to do this also Lester (Add (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| | Re: Another Legend dies....
|
| (...) You bring up an excellent point, Eric, namely the fact that these Legend re-releases might cause many of us to cross themes. For example, I've never been a castle head, but I will undoubtedly buy one of the Guarded Inn sets. Who knows, perhaps (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)

| I don't speak for LEGO, but I may be able to get close to the answers to some of your questions: (...) If this works out (which it certainly seems to be doing), as many one-of-a-kind sets as the market will bear, and that it is profitable for them (...) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

|
| (...) or (...) (mostly (...) Dear Santa Fe Fans! Sorry, but I see no bigger need for a B-Unit-pack. As far as I see the market situation TLC can only support us AFOLs with a limited amount of sets. If there came an upgrade kit, we certainly would (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.trains)

| | Re: What a downer :-(

| (...) The sad truth is that Technic is DEAD. I dont want to believe it. But its true. I think the Lego Company is making a huge mistake by ignoring the Technic market. The whole reason I got into Lego was because Mindstorms and Technic. Now my (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.technic)

| | Re: what makes a legend?
|
| While I dmit to being a bit disturbed at the idea of substitutions being made (wheels, stickers or otherwise) I understand the reasons why it may have to be done. As for what set(s) should be done as Legends, I would like to suggest that some of the (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

No set number, no part count (could be foreign I suppose?), wacky name for a set (heck, why make such a set?), and to date I can't think of any sets since the late 70's that have (...) The images presented are under Lego's copyright. Lego has asked that no sets (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
