Re: A new area of LEGO.com: the Build section

(...) Cool, can't wait for more! (...) Excellent! Are you taking requests for other old sets? I would like to see the old Moon Landing set from the mid-70's! (...) A floating minifig head -- LOL -- awesome! (...) Does this mean that LEGO now (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Sopwith Camel overtakes Guarded Inn! (and it's a NEW set!)

(...) (URL) PICS (Yes!! Thanks, peeron gang) really drive home what a swell set this is for parts. Why, it's a veritable cornucopia, or a vast plethora if you prefer, of goodies in lots of colors. (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.db.inv)

Re: why has lego direct ignored the space theme?

(...) Double Arrrgh!! (...) I would hope this could be true for any number of space sets. I can second a desire for more trans-yellow elements. I have 3 copies of the Message Intercept Base, but I'd take more more for the elements. Renegade is cool (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: what makes a legend?

I agree with the majority here in saying that as long as the "tone" and "feel" of the sets remains intact (without juniorization), then changing out of parts is fine. One thing though: please no stickers. They are just cheap and as has been (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Ages on shop.lego.com

Dear LD- On shop.lego.com, under Baby, Baby Toys, the ages listed for the sets is inconsistent... Some - like set 2522 list the age as 0.3-2 others, like set 2587 list the age as 6-24M The months designation is much clearer than the decimal one... (...)   Re: we want....a shrubbery! one that looks nice... and not too expensive

(...) Why not apply the same policy to all the sets the company releases. ;) (...) This sounds good. I guess my first question (and it's asked in all seriousness) is... "Why just these?" Is there some rhyme or reason to releasing just this small (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) The probably are in the same category ('exclusives' or so). Is suppose picks three randdom sets from the same category. Since a single set can be in multiple categories, this can be a different category than you would expect. Eric (22 years ago, 11-Nov-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: 3737 parts pack again a disappointment

(...) The big reason I order the packs is that I want black 28 stud baseplates. The sets with black baseplates always come with 24 stud baseplates. Of course I don't use baseplates all the time, but for many cars they work just fine. Frank (22 years ago, 21-Nov-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)
