  Why Lego, Why

This is to Brad. Why is Lego not making pneumatics. I ordered to sets of hoses, switches, and cylinders and only got the cylinders. Is the hydraulics taking over? If they are I wish they would make cylinders you can control like the pneumatics. Adam (24 years ago, 10-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Well, I used S@H from Israel and forced my uncle to ship the sets to me... (I think the first time I did that was at 13). -Shiri (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Questions about backordering a set...

Hey Y'all: Okay, so I backordered my lot of Guarded Inn sets...so far so good. 1. When will I actually be charged for this order -- today or when it ships? 2. If the totality of my order is sent in different parcels, will I be charged for shipping (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.market.shopping)

What the?! Where are the catalogs??

Ok, just curious, why don't any of the Orient Expedition sets include catalogs? I got three of them today and NOTHING. Is this LEGO being cheap or is there some kind of logic behind not putting catalogs in the boxes? Lou Zucaro lou@pause.com (22 years ago, 21-Dec-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: From the first LEGO(r) Train Summit: LEGO(r) Trains are alive and well

(...) My sons are ages 5 and 7. The younger one loves to build and can easily build sets labeled ages 8-12, for instance. The worst trouble he has is finding the pieces, so I agree with Rose that the newer inside packaging into separate poly bags (...)   Re: Episode II Products at Shop At Home

Man there are a lot of "funky" colors in these sets. Because this is a license I am sure it is to best match the actual ships/figs etc. so I don't think this was just TLC using colors for the heck of it. Never-the-less I don't know if its a good (...) In the spirit of Lego Direct, how about letting us order the chromed helmets and shields and stuff in bulk? Just trying to help. :) In (...) (24 years ago, 14-Oct-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Very cool! I'm looking forward to the LEGO Space Legends... how are you determining which sets to re-release? Hint: The ratings on the LUGNET set database would be one free source of market ratings. Also, one issue which may be one reason LEGO (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Goodbye Lego and thanks for all the bricks

(...) Relax... they'll come up with a replacement for the 3033 blue tub. Offering sets consisting of only bricks is not a one-time thing, you know. Recall 950 piece buckets 1819 and 1776. Granted, the list price was $20 and a tub beats the heck out (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Why aren't we going crazy?!?

Don't get me wrong I really hope that they are reissuing old early 80's sets. I want a guarded inn and a large army of black falcons. I'm just giving reasons why people may not be going crazy.
