Re: why has lego direct ignored the space theme?

(...) cool, and can be used to make PODs, but they're not in gray (or even blay). Actually, I'm thinking of something more along these lines: (URL) [that] is a cool little POD! Jeff (20 years ago, 23-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: 4755 - Knight Bus Colours

(...) New sets are more likely to have piece inconsistencies than sets that have been in production for a while, as any errors that are made in piece sorting early on would be fixed as they are discovered. (...) Here's my take on it: the LEGO Sculpture sets are items targetted primarily at the serious LEGO-holic market. They are too expensive, and too specialized, to attract a lot of interest in the retail sector. Their primary appeal will be to (...)   Re: Lugnet Promo Sets

(...) I can speak to this a *little* bit as I have been discussing this issue for several months with somebody at LEGO. My understanding is that the Shell promo was about a "4 million pack-out" (as the term was relayed to me). So, I too asked the (...) (24 years ago, 9-Mar-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Selling giant Minifig sets

LEGO - I've heard from an LIC employee that though the Statue of Liberty sets fly off the shelves, the Minifig is left behind. Want to sell? Package a minifig that's unique - like a Classic Space fig, or a Pirate, a knight from Castle, etc. - with (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Meta-Legends?

(...) If there's a market for things like the Statue of Liberty sculpture, I believe there's a market for similarly-priced sets that are more traditional Lego System sets. Of course, the non-Star Wars sculptures have largely disappeared - so maybe (...) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Say again?
