  Re: what makes a legend?

(...) It has taken me five severe revisions to answer this very difficult question. Each time I allowed myself to go off topic into the realm of what I wanted to see, and what I thought LEGO could do to improve their company, rather than answer the (...)   Re: bulk ordering is here!

(...) Yes, in an ideal world, I'd like to see all the instructions available for download in a single printable (PDF?) document. However, I expect TLG would want to host that themselves (if at all). If they did, a high quality set data base which, (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.publish, lugnet.cad)

Availability of Soccer Women's Team #3416?

What countries will the Women's Soccer Team Set #3416 be available in? Everyone is going to want these for the blonde hair elements if not the yellow vests...I certainly hope they will be available through Shop@Home and/or Lego Direct. A blonde (...)   Re: Bad Policy #2 (Why all the secrecy, LEGO Direct?)

(...) I can think of some examples. E.g. number of sale of the Y-Wing+Tie set would be reduced if we know ahead that a cheaper mini-fig set will include Darth Vader. The same applies for the C3PO in Millenium Falcon and Droid Escape. LEGO sets are (...) (23 years ago, 5-May-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: LEGO Sculptor

John, Melissa, & Mark, Good points on pricing, all of them. But I stand by the US$29.99 pricing for LEGO Sculptor, as I think it gives LEGO plenty of room for profit. Pricing elements as a percentage of quantity per set multiplied by the cost of the (...) (23 years ago, 5-Sep-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Classic Helmets Revealed!

Hey Y'all: I have set up a teeny webpage to illustrate the difference between the two older types of classic helmets: the one with the thinner chinstrap, and the one with the extra thick chinstrap.   Re: What a downer :-( ...and we still will hang on....

I had some coffe and read this thread. I got to thinking about the range of Technic parts and brick. I figure what falls into a Technic part catagory is so essential to building stuff that moves or helps form features, that it could never go away. I (...) Hi all, Brad is correct that the set is 99% basic bricks (depending on what you consider basic). However, there are plenty of these 2x6's and 2x8's as well as 2x10's. Most of these large bricks are blue or red, on the other hand there are many (...) (24 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Mystery of LEGO 6500

Re: My Santa Fe Train Kit Theories

(...) My observation : Most LEGO engines are simply too light! The motor has more power, but it can't be transferred onto the track because of the lack of grip.   Molds - I just don't grok the economics
