The question is WHO is doing the ripping off.
In the magazine case there is probably some importer who is marking up the
prices, over which the original publisher has little control
However, Lego is in control of its prices globally - it makes them,
distributes them, and in the case of shop @ home, sells them to.
Therefore it clearly makes a decision to charge some folks more than others.
Of course Lego is not alone in this, and currency fluxuations are part of
the mix with the strong pound (but shouldnt that make an import cheaper?)
However, a 50% increase is far to much
