Example
1 pack of 4515 (Straight Rails) on the UK shop @ home is £12.99
Today on Expedia 12.99 British pounds sterling = 40.06 German Deutsche marks
So how come 1 pack of 4515 on the German shop @ home only cost 29 Deutsche
marks
Also 12.99 British pounds sterling = 20.48 European euros
And www.Reimann.de have them listed for just 11.73 euros (though you need
to buy a bit of bulk).
Lets look at some other countries
Country - Equivalent price at todays exchange
--------- -------
UK - £12.99
Denmark - £10.50
Germany - £9.40
US - £8.85
Holland - £8.33
Feel sorry for the Irish though - £13.49!
Anyone at Lego like to explain why UK prices can be 50% higher than other EU
countries?
Didnt think this was allowed.
Lego - another company happy to join the 'Rip Off Britain' campaign

| Not only that, Its getting v. difficult to get Lego in the UK now. Big stores only stock a few lines. Why do the Americans get privaliged sets. Does it cost to much to release the same set in the US and Europe. why do I have to import (castle) sets (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)
