Re: bulk should mean more than 10

(...) The problem is that there is an overhead cost that is probably very close to the same whether the pack has 10 or 100 windows. I'm guessing that this overhead cost is a large proportion of the $4.99 that 10 windows cost, and that TLC could sell (...) (24 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: bulk should mean more than 10

Bulk means different things to different people. Unless one is embarking on an ambitious project involving hundreds of windows, 10, or a multiple thereof, would sufficient for most of us I would think!! Cheers ... Geoffrey Hyde Eric McCarthy (...) (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

bulk should mean more than 10

Dear Lego Direct, Please increase the quantities and decrease the prices on some of your bulk items. For example: item 3448 - 10 windows - $8.99 item 3449 - 5 doors - $9.99 This isn't really bulk. And it is expensive. Better would be: item 3448b - (...) (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Specials at The Store 30 August

(...) Those are available in a couple of the current sets: 5805, 5807. I would love to see the 2x2x11 columns in bulk, in all the colors that they have been produced in, especially white and brown. The colors of columns that have appeared in sets (...) (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO.new is coming [but not to Australia :( ]

(...) I notice that a lot of the older lego I have seen lately is insectoids, that seems to be making a comeback, probobly LA is clearing excess inventory and drawing names out of a hat for stores that are to get the stock. The problem with lego (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: LEGO.new is coming [but not to Australia :( ]

(...) While I agree totally with your general comments about TLG & LA, I must point out that, having been involved in launching an international e-commerce site, this is probably not achievable. The logistics in delivering products to many different (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

<Appologies for not threading...> (...) So I'd heard. It doesn't mean I have to like it...or believe it :) (...) I know this, it's just that I'm getting sick and tired of TLG's treatment of Australia.[and not neccesarily all of this should go to (...) Um..... Ben, yes the USA is the center of the known Universe. :-) If you want any bulk orders before it is available in Australia, I am sure that there are many AFOLs in North American and (Germanic) Europe that would be happy to order for you until (...)   Re: LEGO.new is coming

(...) Hooray. Good news from LD. (...) Sounds good...Don't like the 'limiting the assortment' bit, but getting anything done by TLG for us Aussies is a big effort. Anything would be better than what we've got. (...) Australia ??? (...) So this is (...) (24 years ago, 27-Aug-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)
