Re: Bulk Bricks and LEGO auctions

Having taken both surveys - and thankful for the chance to express opinions - there is one facet that seems to have been "overlooked" in asking about motivations of buyers. Price. How about a "power buyer" category that qualifies for discounts? I (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Bulk Bricks and LEGO auctions

(...) I feel your pain over multiple accounts and passwords (I currently use at least 4 separate passwords a day at work). For the LEGO site I ended up registering twice because I think I already took the name I really wanted, but can't find the (...) (23 years ago, 18-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Bulk Bricks and LEGO auctions

<cut> From reading others posts, I have to agree, about when choosing certain themes etc that you get to choose some but not what you really wanted to... other than that I posted some info regarding this over a week ago, I think the survey is a good (...)   Re: 10020 Santa Fe available to Oz!

(...) I was wondering how they were gonna do this. Maybe 5000 for US, 5000 for Europe? I wonder how they'd split the numbers between them. And will #1 be available for general sale, or held back for posterity? ROSCO (23 years ago, 18-Feb-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.loc.nz, lugnet.lego.direct)

S@H Gift Certificate Question (Was: Spring 2002 catalog)

Hi All, Does anyone know if a Gift Certificate from S@H can be used on lego.com? When I placed yesterday's order, I had tried doing it online first (because I like I like visually confirming what I order), but I wanted to apply a Gift Certificate (...) Hi LEGO, nice new sets are occuring at lugnet and brickshelf recently. Thanks, these are the kind of sets we want so buy. But let me just ask just one question: Were LEGO designer inspired by my Fokker (Red Baron) MOC I built last year shortly after (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO disappearing from small toyshops

(...) Personaly, I'd wonder is thats true! Wal*mart & K-Mart both have LOW LEGO stocks up here, but the only small toyshop I know of, appears to have LOTS of LEGO's, but no the whole line... More then the other stores though. Are you sure they are (...) (23 years ago, 16-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO disappearing from small toyshops

(...) Dunno about your part of the world, but here in Australia, the Lego reps come around to the stores, although I'm not exactly sure of what they do while at the store. Since I've seen them in national chain stores, I assume they aren't there to (...) (23 years ago, 16-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.market.theory)

Re: LEGO disappearing from small toyshops

(...) The other kind of stores that might be interested are those stores that specialise in "executive toys" or "adult leisure products" (no, not *that* kind) or "gizmo shops". Those stores often carry the high-end model-building sets, huge jigsaws, (...) (23 years ago, 16-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)
