    Jake's To-do list Jake McKee
Just a quick note in a new, fresh post to reiterate a point I had made in an earlier (and now very buried) post. I am working on drafting a response to the question "What is 'good thinking' about the color change". As stated previously, anything I (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Jake's To-do list —Mark Bellis
(...) We need to know: 1. Why old greys and brown needed to be changed in the first place? 2. Why the chosen new colours are less realistic than the old ones, and indeed debatably incompatible? 3. What are the economics of the change for the (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Jake's To-do list —James Wilson
(...) Maybe this is just me, but how are the new colors "less realistic"? Realism is in the eye and imagination of the builder - we lived with yellow "skinned" minifigs for many years; now people are complaining about the new, "more realistic" skin (...)           Re: Jake's To-do list —Mark Bellis
(...) Old brown = wood New brown = chocolate A lot more real things are wood brown than chocolate brown. We're not all going to make Lego chocolate bars!           Re: Jake's To-do list —Jeff Shiner
(...) I've heard this a number of times. Go to Home Depot... take a look at wood. Then come back and reconsider. Wood is many, many different colours. For reference...          Re: Jake's To-do list —Tim Courtney
(...) I can tell you just by common sense that 3 and 5 won't be answered. I find it silly that customers feel they deserve that type of info, especially put "we need to know." How do you define that need? On what basis do you believe LEGO *owes* you (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Jake's To-do list —Alfred Speredelozzi
(...) What if every one of us walked right into Lego's offices, sang a few bars, and then walked right out? They might think it was a movement. :) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.lego)
