Re: Not at all a pact with the devil...

Snipped a lot of good, levelheaded discussion so I could pick on the less good, less levelheaded. (...) I don't see this comment as useful in the context of this particular discussion, even with the smiley. It shows your strong anti MS bias which I (...) Well said, Tim and Frank... (...) <snip> It is instructive to look at other fan/hobby forums.   Re: What Happens To Returned Legos?

(...) Maybe they can return some things, but my experience is that most times when an employee says that, they are using it as an excuse not to mark down a damaged set so I can buy it at a discount. /Eric McC/ (26 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.lego)

A call for a Current Promotions page on LEGO.com

Dear LEGO, There has been much discussion here about the current promotion with Quaker Instant Oatmeal and the Life On Mars sets. While the LEGO User community is pretty good about sharing this type of information when discovered, it would be a (...) (26 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.promo, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: A call for a Current Promotions page on LEGO.com

Ben's request is a reasonable one, but I'd like to suggest that there are pro's and con's to doing this, many which may not be obvious to the die-hard Lego fan: PRO'S: - The sponsor (Shell, Quaker, Kraft Foods, etc.) would get double coverage for (...)   Re: Not at all a pact with the devil...

(...) Hearhear! I don't bitchwhine'n'moan when people go pure MS on their sites, even though I have personally been through the "MS-assimilate-or-destroy" process twice. If Todd wants to be anti-MS in any way, that is HIS choice, just as it would be (...) (26 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

  New instructions paper
