What can I say other I am VERY excited about the entire HP range.  Mucho
kudos to Troy for posting the pictures...well here's my 2 cent worth of
opinions:

DUMBLEDORE (10/10):
Kewl!!!  I can see purple wizards, Hugh Hefner and doddering old geezers.
The top hair piece is the best part!  I can see myself taking an extra one
and spraying it black, stick it on an angry head, making a suitable
barbarian body and voila....Conan the Barbarian!  Every piece of this dude
is usable in most themes.

HAGRID (5/10):
OK, so he's a bit of lump (and a disappointment hence the score), but he'll
make great giants for Castle.  A quick mod with some paint and you can all
sorts of giants....though they'll all have fetish for wearing brown trench
coats.  Is that head a minifig head?  I'm not familiar with the Creator
series.

HARRY PORTER -civvies- (6/10):
Hair piece is cool...new ones always are for me.  The head and torso will
fit into Town MOCs.  Not particularly exciting.

HARRY PORTER -uniform- (7/10):
With the uniform torso you can now pack your Town school with little
annoying apple throwing brats.  The black cape with stars is gonna see it's
way into a lot of Castle MOCs.

HERMIONE -uniform- (9/10):
PHOOOWWWAAARRR!!!  I'm sorry, but being a male of the species that's the
sexiest female minifig head and hair piece EVER!!!  Talk about sultry...and
what character!   : )P

HERIMONE -civvies- (9/10):
That frumpy baby blue jumper torso has got a lot of uses, like making a
fisherman.

PEEVES (0/10):
All I can say about this minifig is that whoever designed it should lay off
the absinth during the daytime!  This minifig sucks blue monkey ass!  : (

QUIRREL (9/10):
I don't really like the torso, but the two heads a fab....especially the
"evil" Quirrel head.  Very suitable for any bad Castle dudes or space
aliens.  The turban is finally going to allow me to explore my
"Arabia/India" theme for my Castle story.  Now let's have it some other
colors particularly white and red.

RON -civvies- (8/10):
A good universal minifig....is it me or does he bear an uncanny resemblance
to whats-his-name Olson form the Superman comic books?  Great pieces also
for an Archie theme MOC.

RON -uniform- (7/10):
Not as great as the civvies version, but still all good.

SNAPE (9/10):
Finally no more using crappy happy Castle ghosts!  Away with ye!  Say hello
to nasty wraiths and wights.  The head could be modified to change the
facial expression for varieties sake.  Torso is good for bad boy mages.  BTW
does the paint glow on the torso and do the hands glow?

OK, that's me done ranting and raving...what do the rest of you guys think?
Hey Troy, can you post some pictures of the Lego animals that come with the
HP sets, pretty pleeeze?!  I gotta see what this toad/frog looks like.

(...) -snip- (...) Yes, the head is a regular minifig head! -snip- (...) The frog looks just like the clear green one that came in the Belville sets only this one is opaque! It's more of a blob than a frog! hehheh Tom (23 years ago, 21-Sep-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

I've take pictures of the Minifigs from the Harry Potter sets we have here, and they have been posted to brickshelf here: (URL) do not yet have the Hogwarts Castle, So we are missing those figs. Most are the same as in other sets though. Troy Troy's (...) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle) !!
