saw the film last night and words fail me in a family newsgroup like this to adequately describe how dire it was. i haven't the read the books, i am never going to read the books (my reading list is too full already!!) but i saw the film! impressions: better than i thought it was going to be, but at points it was seriously trite. moments, such as the awarding (...) So it's now official - Hogwarts Castle is the No.1 toy this Christmas and has predictably sold out here in the UK. So I saw the movie, and noticed that the only scene that has knights in it, is the one with the life-size chessboard at towards the end. HP castle is GBP£80 in UK, making the Irish one at IRL£80 a real bargain for us (I know, I bought one at Smyths in October). Just for info, if anyone is going to Calais before Christmas the Carrefour supermarket has the castle in stock for approx (...)
