Yes, those Paradisa sets were overlooked by a lot of AFOLs.  Maybe the pink
pieces were a turnoff.  I did manage to buy a few.  My favorite is that • dark
pink (magenta) colored oval shaped plastic case set, a freestyle set I • believe.
I picked up 5 of them.  Each one had some rare stuff - pink lamp posts, • yellow
2x2 regular sloped outside corner bricks (very rare), white arches and • slopes,
and of course the pink tiles, plates and windows.  The pink pieces will • come in
handy for some Art Deco buildings (Miami Beach Deco style).

I found one of these about three months ago in a Family Toy Warehouse.  It
was open and missing about 20 pieces(nothing too rare, luckily).  The best
part was that it was only $5.00!

My dark ages started about the same time Paradisa was released so I missed
them all when they were widely available.  I did manage to find two complete
Sand Dollar Cafe's in a Ames last Thanksgiving for $14.50 each.  There was
much to be thankful for that year :)  Of course, I found the Paradisa
Playground (complete) for $0.25 at a yardsale about a month ago.

Ok, I'll end this self-praise of my FOTW.  And I won't tell(scare?) you all
about my recent dream about a lt pink/dk pink/white Metroliner.
