I don't own that set, but I can tell you it's not a fluke. The first set that
really sparked notice in this problem was the Harry Potter Knight Bus, with the
then-new dark-purple color. Dark-red has since started showing up in seriously
mismatched shades, and with dark-blue being added to the list I'm sure it won't
be much longer before the same thing happens to dark-green. Brown and dark-bley
seem to be relatively immune to this problem, possibly due to the sheer volume
they produce in those colors resulting in a much quicker troubleshooting
process. It also doesn't seem to be a hugely noticable problem with lighter
colors, though slight variations have been noticed with some of the more basic
bright colors as well.
