Re: Best Lego Year of all time?

(...) It is very interesting that everyone is saying how juniorisation started killing lego in 1997. That was about the exact time I slipped into my dark ages (it was also the year I was 14). Anyway I seriously believe that 2007 is going to be the (...) (18 years ago, 12-Feb-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Best Lego Year of all time?

(...) Very cool topic dude! Well my focus is mainly on technic but I also like pirates and modle team. It's really hard for me to pick a year. In 1988 there was the 8865 (test car) which was great. In 1993 the skulls eye scooner (is that even (...) (18 years ago, 11-Feb-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Best Lego Year of all time?

(...) I love looking through the archives...! Best year(s) for LEGO? I'd say the early-mid 1970's! No minifigs (and I like the minifig!), nice, big gears--"Expert Builder" wasn't out yet--no themes, either (unless you count the "LegoLand" series as (...)   Re: Peeron inventory

(...) Dan: Could you give me an email like Clarks or someone else to send the corrections to? I would feel better considering it is a lot of work on my part? Could I send them to you? You can email me at lego77@sbcglobal.net. I have sent around 600 (...) (18 years ago, 10-Feb-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Straight LEGO Country Flags of 70's and 80's

(...) [snip-snap] (...) gary, I never came across a candian or irish flag. I recall having seen the aussie version but not 100% sure (BL has no pic). it would be great if I could get my hands on a picture of those three and even better the sheet (...) (18 years ago, 10-Feb-07, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Peeron inventory

(...) Yes - TWS Garrison and Clark do a great work keeping the data updated. If did you try sending your corrections to inv@peeron.com? I'm sorry if I missed your emails, but if you sent them to me directly it's very likely they got lost in the (...) (18 years ago, 10-Feb-07, to lugnet.general)

  Peeron inventory

Is there anyone out there that can add corrections to Peeron? Clark is going on an extended vacation and I need someone to send corrections and errors to. I have sent Dan two emails without a reply asking him if they want the corrections. The reason (...) (18 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Straight LEGO Country Flags of 70's and 80's

Thanks Manfred, So Unilever is the company for the #1592 sets of Britain (1980) and Netherlands (1983). That makes perfect sense, since they (like Royal/DutchShell) are a British/Dutch company. Funny thing is I use LEVER 2000, their brand of soap! (...) (18 years ago, 8-Feb-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Set Database - Loose Brick

Hello Lugnet... I may have asked this before (long before), but is there any way for a member to update his set listing with extra brick that did not come in sets listed in the database? For example, if I bought 100 pieces at a yard sale, how would (...) (18 years ago, 8-Feb-07, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.suggestions)

(...) Well, no, not everyone who posts is a member, but your post said "...maybe we could have a census of the members in Lugnet." I don't think it's Martin who should be thanked for playing. Grok the fullness. Cheers Richie Dulin (18 years ago, 7-Feb-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)
