JLUG is the sort of place either you love or hate, or love to hate or hate to
love, often all at the same time. It is not a place for everyone, nor was it
ever intended to be. Those that feel most comfortable there are NOT offended by
crude jokes, profanity or things of questionable or silly nature. We tend to
embrace our immaturity on a full scale and have a plethora of "inside jokes".
On the other hand, there is usually overwhelming support for questions asked,
and often decent feedback on MOCs posted for our relatively small active
membership. Of course, I am completely biassed... being one of the two founders
and admins.
