  GeekBrick.com, Podcast Only!

GeekBrick.com will no longer be posting news on the site, as it is now going to be a weekly podcast. In a way, it is similar to the Bricks in my Pocket podcast in the sense that they have most of their LEGO news, etc, on the podcast. The two full (...)   Re: attaching batman logo stickers to the batmobile and batboat sets

  Re: SNVT Build-a-Train Contest

The contest is a good idea and I agree that this sort of thing is one of the best concrete things we can do to promote the continuance of 9V trains. Thanks for setting it up. One comment on the rules/guidelines: Clarity of the instructions - not (...) (18 years ago, 25-May-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Finnally have a website

Just in case anyone cares: cowinacan.com was going to add it to my lugnet member page but forgot my password and such and don't feel like going through hassle of trying to get it. Hope you enjoy it. Steve DeCraemer (18 years ago, 25-May-06, to lugnet.general)

attaching batman logo stickers to the batmobile and batboat sets

On the batmobile, I attached the larger batman logo to the windscreen of the batmobile (as per the instructions). Where do the 3 smaller batman logos attach to? On the batboat, I stuck the small batman logo on the front of batmans small boat thing (...) (18 years ago, 25-May-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: Got my first LEGO Factory 1.6 sets today and...

(...) hmm, my packing list says the same thing. Having worked in a fulfillment type capacity in the past I can picture the workers trying to get things out the door and learn the new procedures at the same time. I can imagine a company like Lego, (...) (18 years ago, 24-May-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: Got my first LEGO Factory 1.6 sets today and...

(...) Thats odd because I only got 1 box when I ordered 10 copies of the same set... I did get all the cover pages though. Actually my packing slip even says "SHPALON1" in the "WHSE" column. I take that as "Ship all on 1 box" in the "Warehouse (...) (18 years ago, 24-May-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: Got my first LEGO Factory 1.6 sets today and...

(...) I just rec'd my 10 copies of Tims dark red wall. Ordered on 5/9 delivered on 5/24. Perfectly reasonable time frame IMO for such a new and logistically involved process. I am hoping TLG tweaks the system a little to deal with the excass box and (...) (18 years ago, 24-May-06, to lugnet.general)

  Re: SNVT Build-a-Train Contest

(...) Yes I had noticed that, I am hoping that it is just a temporary hicup in the system. I wouldn't think they would have "Sold Out" already on Train Wheels. (...) Thanks, this is was a very fortunate side effect of having LEGO Factory come out (...) (18 years ago, 22-May-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: LDD Train parts are 9V...

  Re: SNVT Build-a-Train Contest

(...) My son Ross already built a loco using the factory (using 2 motors). It was huge. I told him to shorten it by 8 studs, and he did, and then we submitted it to see how much it would cost. <drum roll, please!> One hundred and ninety two bucks!!! (...)   Re: SNVT Build-a-Train Contest

  Re: Set database Q

(...) Hi Nathan, thanks for the question. I assume you mean the 1 x 1 plates (not bricks). My gut instinct is to answer "no", because the parts bags weren't designed to be sold as individual sets. Their sale (AFAIK) is merely a side-effect of the (...) (18 years ago, 21-May-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: Very Rare (1957-60) USA Lego Flag?

I hope I don't confuse people.... "USA flags" and "USA Lego flags" are 2 different things. The dates listed are the offical USA flag dates. The actual USA Lego flag dates are unknown to me (except the 1957 date of first Lego USA flag sales). Gary (...) (18 years ago, 20-May-06, to lugnet.general)
