Re: How does the voting at the Lego Factory Competition work? —Jindrich Kubec
(...) Can't see it too. Tried 2 different browsers. I'm quite surprised how it can get any votes at all. The jpg downloaded from the site is plain wrong, so I doubt anyone can get better (I've tried to reload the picture multiple times). What do you (...) (20 years ago, 17-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: How does the voting at the Lego Factory Competition work? —Marc Nelson, Jr.
(...) Yes, you're right. I had just assumed you could download them the same as the "Inspirational Models". (...) The (URL) official rules> say: As part of the LEGO Factory Element Pallet, the Entrant will be provided with three different (3) 8 knob (...) (20 years ago, 17-Nov-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: How does the voting at the Lego Factory Competition work? —Jindrich Kubec
(...) The rules IMO say: 16x16 studs building area. It doesn't mention at which height, so it must apply for all heights, so no overhang. Simply block 16x16xH, where H is height (without limits). If the size limit wouldn't apply at any other level (...) (20 years ago, 17-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: How does the voting at the Lego Factory Competition work? —Jeremiah VanderMark
(...) Not to sound bitter/conspiritorial, but I smell cheating on that one. The jpeg is corrupted (and has been since day one), yet it's getting a huge number of votes. I'd like to point this out to someone in charge, but I'd rather not have to play (...) (20 years ago, 17-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: How does the voting at the Lego Factory Competition work? —Luca Giannitti
(...) I've submitted some creations for this week contest, I've sent them my signed letter for the partecipation BUT: 1. after rather 10 days my creations are still pending 2. all my creations (there were a couple of normal buildings) were 16x16 (...)          Re: How does the voting at the Lego Factory Competition work? —Jeremiah VanderMark
(...) This seems odd. Are you sure it's been that long? I know anything accepted after Sunday goes into next week's competition, and the (URL) FAQ page> says it takes up to four days to moderate entries. I'd bet on your submissions showing up on (...)         Re: How does the voting at the Lego Factory Competition work? —Paul S. D'Urbano
(...) This is just silly. Obviously something has gone very wrong with the vote tallying (or worse, someone has already figured out how to cheat!). (...) I wish they did let you download them. I guess they're afraid of people copying other peoples (...) (20 years ago, 17-Nov-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: How does the voting at the Lego Factory Competition work? —Kelly McKiernan
(...) This does seem awfully odd. It's still number one, with almost twice as many votes as the next runner-up. And it's a garbage image. But there's nothing in the rules that say you can't have all your friends vote for yours, no matter how (...) (20 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)
