Eric,

I feel your pain, what you describe sounds exactly what my LEGO life is been
like the past year or so. Ever since my daughter became mobile my sorting
time was cut down to waiting till she was in bed. So after she and my son get
to bed I have about 2 hours to sort and of course spend "quality" time with
my wife.

Not to mention mowing the lawn, hanging curtains, washing dishes, picking up
toys, rearranging furniture, catching that dang mosquito in my son's room,
putting out the trash, and the important stuff my wife "needs" me to do :-).
Doesn't leave a lot of time for LEGO.

We need a new term for AFOLs that have toddlers and can't build/sort as
desired, it' not really a dark age, more of a forced separation.

LOL, I have learned a few tricks.

1.  Use only tight, snap locking bins on the lower shelves that the kids can
reach.

2.  Keep one bin of random stuff for my son to play with while I am working.

I don't have a recommendation for a name.  I just am not good at that but we are
definitely a significant portion of the overall AFOL community.
