    Mega Bloks —Matt Canales
Hey I didn't know where to post this so I posted it here: I was just browsing Lego off-brands and Lego-like sites, and I went to (URL) and right when I got there I noticed one thing: Not only is Mega Bloks an off-brand, (basicly everyone knows that) (...)         Re: Mega Bloks —David Laswell
(...) Nah, it looks cheaper and less well-designed, which is fitting. Hey, guess what? My anti-pop-up program now defends against Mega-Bloks! Woo-hoo! (21 years ago, 4-May-03, to lugnet.general)

        Re: Mega Bloks —Ahui Herrera
(...) They look alike but I would NOT say it's a total copy. I'm not defending MegaBlok but you have to give them some credit. They got some really NICE themes that I wish LEGO would make. Their military stuff is ok. Their DRAGON minifigs ROCK! It's (...) (21 years ago, 4-May-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) Yeah, you're right. When you posted this I checked back, (I hadn't seen Lego.com in a while, I just posted out of memory, It seems they got a new layout for the frontpage) And I saw the differences. (...) Yep. (...) Yeah, I know what you mean. (...) (21 years ago, 4-May-03, to lugnet.general)

         Re: Mega Bloks —David Laswell
(...) It wouldn't surprise me if they have to pay royalties to the individual players. You know, cause they don't make nearly enough money with just their team paychecks... (...) So make your own stickers. Scan the paint deco, change the numbers, (...) (21 years ago, 4-May-03, to lugnet.general)

         Re: Mega Bloks —Matt Canales
(...) Yeah, like Xtreme Stunts -- Island Xtreme Stunts is NOT COOL!!! The MegaBloks one is WAY better. I just got four minifig packs of MegaBloks, (9171, 9172, 9173, and 9174) they are SOO cool. (plus it was $1 each instead of $3.25 each at KB Toys; (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-03, to lugnet.general)

         Re: Mega Bloks —David Laswell
(...) Ah, but MB isn't being endorsed by Gravity Games, Bob Burnquist, or Ross Powers. LEGO is, and will be releasing skateboarding and snowboarding sets featuring minifigs of both Bob and Ross and lots of GG logos sometime later this month. (21 years ago, 8-Jun-03, to lugnet.general)

         Re: Mega Bloks —David Laswell
(...) Currently it's just freestyle/vert skateboarding and big air/cross race/half-pipe snowboarding. No downhill skateboarding, no street luge, no BMX, no Motorcross, no inline skating, no wakeboarding...and I can't remember if there's anything (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-03, to lugnet.general)
