		what is the rarest piece
which lego element is the rarest? some candidates might be: the flag from the old guarded inn castle set, the flag from black falcons fortress. (25 years ago, 17-May-99, to lugnet.general)

I couldn't hazard a guess, but the rarest element I have is the flag from #6970 Beta-1 Command Base. It is my most treasured Lego element. BTW, if you look at the set picture on Pause, the sticker on the flag is upside down! Dave jonathan wilson (...) (25 years ago, 17-May-99, to lugnet.general)

I would have to nominate that staircase in the Paradisa line, I think it was in Poolside Paradise and the lighthouse, both pink, very interesting. One of the only times they addressed the second floor issue. Scott Sanburn (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.general)

I have one that I would have to guess is very rare. I still can't fathom why they made it: 2 clear 2x2 base plates joined with a plastic tether about 4 studs long. These are not plates, but base plates. Anyone know where they came from? I got them (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.general)

Hey Larry, How many were in that wheels pack. I found 5 or 6 in a small collection I got from a mate over here and I'm trying to track down the sets they are from. They were in a 118 Electronic Engine box but this set doesn't use them. So what do (...) (25 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.general)

I picked up about 10 of these in a collection. The rarest pieces for me are the pieces I know exist but don't have. 1x1x2 black windows, 2x6x2 blue weight bricks, 1x3x2 blue windows, red bogie plates. Mark H. (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)
