I'd say that a portion of the reason why some areas have more post's
is definitely population, more people, more post's. That's not all of
it though, some of it is the length of time the theme has been around,
Harry Potter is a good example of this, as is Technic. HP is a recent
theme that is not to everyone's taste. Technic is a long established
line, so it has quite a few posters. Robotics bucks this trend being
a recent theme with many posts, but that's mostly because it's a very
technical in nature, (presumably) inspiring many question's and
answers.
Town is 'hurt' in this respect as some related themes that are very
town like split traffic away (trains).
Despite all this my main thought about posting volumes and such is
thus,
"Don't sweat the numbers" Read and post where YOU like and have
interest in. Let others do the same, posting is NOT a contest. Oh
and "Play Well" with others :^)

These really seem (...) (23 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.general)
