I think James Brown provides a reasonable explanation that most can
understand. I think this is why:

It is on the lugnet.robotics newsgroup page. There is a gateway link
between this group and lugnet.robotics. That is why there is a different
shade of color when they post. I think it is neet to see some branching.
I don't see why other common theme groups gateway (like FBTB, etc) to
gain a wider list of viewers...
I don't know that is my opinion. The moderators/web masters of those
boards/groups may not agree. I understand. I was just making an example.
