To All,

I am not totally sure where to put this, this goes under experience. LMK if
there is a more appropriate place.

My lovely and gracious wife, Lynn, decided to paint a newly purchased
cabinet for one of our bathrooms. I got home on Tuesday, and the house
reeked of paint. I found out she painted it in the LEGO Storage Facility
(LSF), err... basement. I asked her why she did not paint it in the garage,
and she didn't say anything, but it wasn't too big a deal, I aired out the
house.

I was fine until this morning when I went down to the LSF and moved some
items in preparation for my new home layout. I discovered a film of
off-white paint on the LEGO items surrounding the immediate paint area.
Notables include a brown hair piece and the port parts of the 6542, a box of
instructions for my store, and a few other storage boxes. I am unsure how
much it is, I moved a lot of stuff out of the way.

Anyway, did anyone have experiences like this? I am somewhat upset, but I
hope that Brasso or something will clean it off.

Scott "No more paint in the LSF, please!" S.

Well, I'm not sure if this is comparable, but... My wife -it seems to me- operates under the feeling that she "allows" a lego collection to exist at all. Not in so many words, but it's clearly a constant nuisance to her. My biggest problem is that I (...) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.general)
