  6776 Should not be re-released.

Hi, I had my reservations about Alpha team when it first appeared. During the Golden age of the early 1990's TLC/TLG seemed not to have a need to resort to including 'war' toys in its ranges. What changed? Surely there are alternative (more (...) (23 years ago, 25-Sep-01, to lugnet.general)

It shouldn't have been pulled to begin with! (was Re: 6776 Should not be re-released.)

Hey! I won't argue the point about there being viable options to "violent" toys, that said I hope TLC doesn't stop producing all of the other themes where violence is at least clearly an option -- star wars, castle, town, space, pirates, wild west, (...)   Re: 6776 Should not be re-released.

Re: 6776 Should not be re-released.

A child will play 'war' using sticks as guns even if LEGO made only standard bricks, children would make weapons out of them. children do that sort of thing, its in there nature. I did it many of you did it, its part of creative play. It dosen't (...) (23 years ago, 27-Sep-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: 6776 Should not be re-released.

I do not get it. Of all the violent themes TLC produces, Alpha Team seems the least violent. If anyone actually paid attention to the story, as every kid that wanted this set no doubt did, I belive they would agree. In the story not one single (...) (23 years ago, 27-Sep-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) Ooooh! Sharp pointy objects! And shiny too! (...) It is NOT *at all* baffling to anyone who's ever played Illuminati.   Re: 6776 Should not be re-released.

(...) Well I would definitely argue strongly that LEGO Fans ought to have either 0 or -1 income... our addiction is a source of expense that consumes all else.
