Please, please!

I'm trying to show respect to the all hurt Americans by not debating causes
and response options to the gigantic tragedy. I guess the editorial is
supposed to be a consolation and therefore it deserves praise, but at the
same time it's almost a direct provocation and a spark to ignite another
hurting debate thread for us who have another view on USA.

So please, if I shall be able to refrain from declaring my opinions, please
don't allow yourselves to proclaim pro-american stuff.

I agree up to a certain extent.
If this is some sort of help, LFB reported the article was written in
1973... rendering it somehow "dated". Honestly, I think the perspective
Americans/Canadians have of international affairs is not that simplistic any
longer.
But on the other hand, I'd rather discuss this in .debate, possibly later on
in the month.
