No date but i assume just today or yesterday.Why do you say the seventies????

Because the bloke never mentions "Airbus" as a plane brand... and currently
it has more then 50% of the world plane market (commercial, medium-large).
But I now see there is a mention to the SF earthquake, so it has to be
post-1989... which leads me to the conclusion that this editorialist is not
a very good one (to say the very least... his positions are of almost
childish simplicity/innocence, and very, very outdated).

Simple but in MANY cases true!

The truth can be only one, but it can be seen from different angles. He had
a quite dated point of view... and did not mention the full context of all
the situations referred (which would not fit the paper...)

Anyway, if he felt America was the best place on Earth, why didn't he cross
the canadian border and became an american?
