| | | In several weeks my web-page will finally be online! I would like to know what internet browser and desktop resolution most people use the most. I would assume Internet Explorer 5, and 1024x780 resolution. Please let me know if you use the same, or (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.general)

| | | | | Mozilla (0.93 as of this morning) and 1024x768. However, my browser is usually around 800x600. I'd strongly recommend making sure that your page fits in 800x600 and works fairly well on all of IE5, IE5.5, NS4.7, NS6, Mozilla, Mac IE (ver?), Mac NS (...) The best thing to do with a page is make it fit resolutions as small as, say, 640 x 480 or 800 x 600, but possibly be able to adapt bigger, and to (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.general)

| | | | | I guess it's Mac day here at Lugnet, not that I mind... iMac running Netscape 4.76 and IE 5. resoultion 1024x768, but I, too, work with reduced sized windows so 800x600 is preferred. | | | | | You have to allow it to be workable in 640x480 (ugh) I try to allow sites to be viewable in 640x480 although they are seldom pretty, then design the site so it'll work in 800x600 and look good. let it resize up from there James Stacey Senior (...)
