Out of curiosity, did you copy a real bridge design, or did you design it
yourself?  I'm especially interested in the double-spiral on the one side • of
the bridge.

I'll admit, I did use some reference from a book titled "The Way Things
Work"(I honestly don't know if it's still being published, c1967) or I'd
advise going to a good bookstore or library and check out the architecture
or engineering sections for anything.

That spiral within spiral layout took a while to get right.  You'll have to
pull out the graphic calculator for this part but I thought of basing the
ramp plan on
p ( rho) = (b) + (a)(cosine theta) , a > b, AKA Limacion of Pascal (forgive
my French).  OK, so I had to "warp it" to make it work but as long as it
does, I'm happy.  I try to take more shots for another site to provide more
detailed instruction to those wanting to try and build one.
