Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —Jason Fabisch
(...) Nah, I think it only comes with 3 and that is Palp in the cockpit(multitalented guy, eh). The red looks like flash flair. My picture looks like his hands are yellow in the cockpit. Just my opinion. Jason F. (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2001)

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —Eric Joslin
(...) I agree that the hands in the cockpit are yellow, but I seriously doubt the fig is Palpatine. LEGO has *never* done that before (put "multiple" copies of a fig in a catalogue shot- unless they're generic figs that there are multiples of in a (...)       (...) That would be very cool if you are right. Do you know when they are due? Jason F. (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2001)

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —Eric Joslin
(...) If this year is like every other, we should see some of the sets before Christmas (at least, in the USA). eric (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2001)

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —Jude Beaudin
(...) fig (...) Actually, did they not do that with the Soccer Kit? Although they did add a disclaimer. Jude (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —Thomas Weigle
(...) Not true. Check out the pictures of Slave 1 from the 2000 catalog: (URL) in the cockpit, Boba on the ground... Besides, with earlier information indicating 3 minifigs, why not assume that the person in the cockpit is the emperor, thus avoiding (...)       (...) fig (...) isn't {Boba Fett minifig standing in front of the Slave I model with Boba Fett in the Cockpit}, rather, it's {Boba Fett Minifig close up} overlayed on {Slave I with Boba Fett in the cockpit}. In other words, the larger Boba Fett (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —David Simmons
It wouldn't make sense to me. The royal guards aren't going to fly the ship. They just stand around and look intimidating. Besides, the emperor's so powerful he could probably fly the ship without touching the controls! Dave Lorbaat (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —Josh Opotzner
I'm positive that the Imperial Shuttle includes a fourth mini-fig to pilot. First, it couldn't be Palpatine; he is wearing the black hood piece. If you look closely at the picture, it's clear that the sides of the figs head arn't covered with (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —Ken Dowd
(...) Yep, you're right about the cockpit fig not wearing a hood. In fact, if you look closely you can see that it is a classic smiley face (Palpatine's eyes are larger and his mouth is straight). Ken (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) It looks to me like a kepi on his head. That would make 'Imperial Officer' the obvious suggestion. best LFB (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —Thomas Weigle
(...) True, it was an overlay. It was the best I could do at work, however. IIRC there are other pictures from the Star Wars series as well... As for the different "collage" styles... Sure, the Boba picture is a more clear example of two combined (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —Christian Gemuenden
Not only they showed him twice in the catalogue, even the box is actually wrong! (It shows nearly the same as the catalogue: two Bobas) TLC also does this a lot for the Belville and Scala line. They put a large picture of the actual set in the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —John Radtke

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —Bryan Hodges
(...) Because the figure in the cockpit has a regular smiley, not the Emperor's head... it's visible enough to at least make that out. However, it's possible that the fig was simply in there when the shot was taken and they just figured that the (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure.... —Mark D. McKean
(...) The hands in the cockpit do indeed look yellow, but I'd bet real money (if I had any) that the fig in the cockpit is a classic smiley, not Palp's scowling face. And he's wearing a hat, not a hood. It's not Palp. (24 years ago, 28-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2001)
