You could try getting some LEGO Soft, altohough there'd be a bit of a space
problem, or mix in some rubber tires inside, to stop some of the clinking.

(...) Actually I do have some of the Lego Soft bricks. I bought the smallest of the three Lego Soft sets from an excellent source for the Dacta sets, Glen Tannenbaum.
