Gak. You might have caught me out, there- I remember hearing something similar
to "We want to be a household name" and thinking that it was already true. It
may well have been that he said:

and I thought that they already were the strongest brand [of building bricks].
It may well also mean that I was assuming something about what Brad said, but
given that he didn't say "Strongest construction toy brand" or even "strongest
toy brand", and I doubt he meant literally the *strongest brand in the world*
(a quite lofty goal) I might have been guilty of filling in for him.

Yah, either way I feel like it's an obvious desire of any mass-market consumer
company, and can really go without saying as a goal.

"...By the year 2005, the company wants the LEGO brand to be the strongest in the world among families with children." This should indeed be an achievable goal, as (...)
