why Airport shuttle isn't 6993 will always be a mystery to me. It's not
used, nor is 6992.

(...) 69xx is space. The Airport Shuttle is Town, hence 63xx (could've been 66xx or 65xx, but 6399 is where it came up at the time it was released). Since 6921 (accessory track) was released with the first shuttle (a space shuttle set), it has the (...) (26 years ago, 30-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)
