Great points Tom. First, while it's "just toys" the industry is extremely
competitive. Competing toy companies would love to hear all of the LEGO
Group's plans for next year and subsequent years. Bottom line -- it's a
business. They must protect their product plans from their competitors.
It would serve LEGO no use to broadcast these plans on the Internet.
Second, I just hope the LEGO folks listen to the people (however small our
segment of the market is) on this newsgroup. I don't mind them not
posting. Like I said, I'll be happy as a clam if they never post to these
newsgroups, as long as they return LEGO to what it was in the late 70s,
1980s and even the early 1990s. I want my son's creativity to be
captivated by LEGO as much as I was when I was a kid. Not to mention, it
would serve my interests as well!!

| (...) I've heard this before (about us only being a small segment of the market). But the only things that seperate us from the rest of the Lego fans around the world is that we have access to the internet, and we have luckily found groovy resources (...)
