  "Ads by Goooooogle" at Brickshelf?

I'm a little concerned about the boxes with "Ads by Goooooogle" that shows in my browser at Brickshelf and other sites. As they make ads with Swedish topics, there seems to be some kind of intelligence behind them(?), targeting the ads in a creepy (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Cool new Lego sculptures at ToysRUs.... Wait a minute, is that?!?!?

(...) Well, I can't speak with any certainty of Mega Blocks parts, since I have NO idea what they make one way or the other.... But I CAN tell you that Lego doesn't use non standard parts (well, not anymore). The last year I was at the park, the (...)   Re: Cool new Lego sculptures at ToysRUs.... Wait a minute, is that?!?!?

(...) Was it this one by any chance? (URL) can't tell from the picture what the non-released parts might be, but I'll take your word for it. I was in NYC in February 2002 but I can't remember the displays all that well. A big dragon is the only (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Cool new Lego sculptures at ToysRUs.... Wait a minute, is that?!?!?

(...) Nice photo. The warrior is new style, but that TRU had a life-size bronze knight sculpture from the first wave of Dragons (2002). When I saw it, my first thought was: just like Lego, they've built it entirely from parts that have never been (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Lego Electronic Lab Kit

(...) I won't kill you. But I wish to inform that I use clone brands like Byggis, and Tyco, and MegaBloks or already broken LEGO parts for my electric and electronic "hacking". /Tore (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

  LEGO-related blogs?

I saw this post today: (URL) included a link to a LEGO-related blog. I'm sure Bruce can't be the only one writing about LEGO in his blog. So I wondered: Is there a list of LEGO-related blogs somewhere? Or a way to search for them somehow? If no one (...) (21 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

Cool new Lego sculptures at ToysRUs.... Wait a minute, is that?!?!?

Hello all! I just got back from a business trip to Ney York, where I just finished a HUGE commision for a family in Long Island. Had some extra time so I decided to check out the Toys R Us Megastore in Times Square (among other touristy stuff). I, (...) (21 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

Help! How do you put an image inside of a post?!?

Hey all, Alright, as you all may be aware, computers ain't my forte. I have seen many a time here on Lugnet where there is an image INSIDE of the post instead of a link. How on earth do you do this? On the new post page there is a strange list of (...) (21 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: The various growing pains of Lugnet

(...) I am a fortune child, born in to the Buddist religon. My mother and father both went to Woodstock. I live a bohiemian lifestyle. I guess I qualify. But I cut the hair and got a better job.   Re: "The LEGO Group" or "The LEGO Company"?

(...) Funny thing is, I found the company profile brochure (a PDF at "(URL) and it offers no guidance on what the company itself should be called. It uses the term "the LEGO Company" often, but then the bottom of each page says the document itself (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: "The LEGO Group" or "The LEGO Company"?

(...) There have been discussions here before about that very topic. A quick search turned up this ((URL)) for example. Also try here ((URL)) for some words straight from the company's mouth.
