Dawsonville LEGO Outlet Store closing :(

For those of you who didn't know the Dawsonville Georgia LEGO Outlet store is being closed (this is the first US LEGO Outlet opened in Oct. 1999). I guess this is another sign of the tough times for LEGO retail. I know many folks have never (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ga)

(...) Hi Gary, thanks for the response. I guess I glossed over the scale in my haste to grab another piece of LEGO ephemera.. In the book it does say the scale is approximately 1:40. I'd still love to have some of these, as I'm as much of a gearhead (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.dk, FTX)

  Re: VIKINGS!!!!!!!(Re: was:LEGO new crane)

(...) Based on a size comparison with a minifig and with a 1 x 6 piece (the 1 x 6 with railing at the top) and based on the color and what little details are visible in the picture, I think the wheels are the same as the 81.6x38R wheels from the (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

(...) On the giant dump truck, do those tires look like Power Puller tires, or something else ? Also, do you think the bed of the truck is constructed, I don't think they would make a a single Lego piece that big, would they ? (21 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Anyone read Danske Modelbiler?

(...) Hi, If you are familiar with the 60's steerable vehicles (331-337), the steering mechanism on these earlier ~1:40 (non-constructional) vehicles of which you enquire was quite similar. The triangle sign on the cab roof is the user control, as (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.dk)

Re: Potomac Mills Outlet & Tysons Corner Store

  Re: Anyone read Danske Modelbiler?

(...) Darrell, I am not 100% sure, but I think you are describing the 1:43 scale model cars that Lego made in the early to mid 1950's, BUT they were not part of the LEGO System. The box tops and pictures on the boxes of these cars/trucks do not show (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.dk)

  Anyone read Danske Modelbiler?

A couple of days ago, I stumbled across this site: (URL) this a valid site? Or do I have some trojan? It looks suspiscious to me.
