  Re: Customer petition?

(...) That's always been my understanding as well. Technically they can street anyone they wish (although it can get tricky without a defensible reason that doesn't appear discriminatory). Anyhow, in a mall you would probably need permission to set (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

  Re: Customer petition?

(...) I see. Well, it's something we should look into but that all sounds about right. And I think it's definitely important to conduct the survey/petition as professionally and unobtrusively as possible. (...) Yes. We would have to be clear to TLC (...)   Re: Customer petition?

(...) I also believe that is correct. I'm not sure that most malls are actually public property though. Although the "public" is invited to shop there, it is still a private business, and you may be asked to leave unless you had permission from the (...)   Re: Customer petition?

(...) I could be wrong but it was my understanding (as a former petitioner for the Libertarian Party) that if you are on public property, permission is not required. However, you can be asked to leave if you are disruptive (block pedestrian flow, (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Customer petition?

Hi Jake, There was the suggestion of a petition to the company and someone mentioned petitioning parents. One thing that came to my mind is trying to collect signatures at or around the Legoland theme parks and Lego retail stores. I imagine that (...)   Re: Color change: Let's go straight to the CEO!

(...) Has it been a year already? wow. I've been away for a long time. I totally avoided the color battle because I didn't want to get upset. Just recently, I returned to buying large amounts of LEGO elements for those "spring cleaning" boxes. I (...) (21 years ago, 28-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: I love Lego

(...) I concur. I offered this as a discussion point before, with little to no takers. Overseas production by Oxford / Brick makes "spot on" classic grays. You want classic colors, approach them for a bulk order. I don't see copyright infringement (...) (21 years ago, 28-Nov-04, to lugnet.people, lugnet.general)

Re: Sort-of-poll: Your most common Lego dream?

(...) Hi Dave, I dream about LEGO from time to time too, sometimes I wake up and hate it when I realise it wasn't true :( The most common LEGO dreams I have are 'I am somewhere in a place I have no idea in the real world but seem to know in my (...) (21 years ago, 28-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Color change: Let's go straight to the CEO!

(...) Hi there, I understand this situation... love it or hate it... the colours I'd like changed back, light/dark grey and brown, also minifigs to be as they are known and loved 'yellow'. For me that represented something different, no-one is (...) (21 years ago, 28-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: TRU 500 piece bonus bucket question

(...) Hi Jonathan, I went through my bonus tubs and found the piece of which you speak only in the one 2714. Four 2814s didn't have any. But don't despair, there's plenty of variation in the bonus boxes. Peace and random selections, Ley, aka (...) (21 years ago, 28-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: I Just Don't See It

(...) Peter I agree. I too have a lot of old bricks. Many of the white mint bricks I have from the 1970's have "tanned" as well, due to sunlight. Interestingly enough, I think that Cellulose Acetate white bricks keep their whiteness better than ABS (...) (21 years ago, 27-Nov-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: I Just Don't See It

(...) This causes a big difference. Do not be fooled, this is the most annoying thing about building white models for me. A lot of my Lego is 20+ years old and has been in direct sunlight. The white is a totally different colour, it's really (...) (21 years ago, 27-Nov-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Sort-of-poll: Your most common Lego dream?

SNIP (...) Hi Jeff, A grim scenario :-) I had a lego dream too, a few weeks ago. It was very strange. There's this loco I'd been working on, and I've taken a printout of a real world picture of it for the build. Anyway, in the dream, I realised that (...)   Re: Sort-of-poll: Your most common Lego dream?

  Re: Set #271 Policemen

(...) Hi Ronald, I have seen that page. I believe that there is an old Netherlands catalog that shows this as well. I even have some old 50's parts packs with the extra "1" (written with Danish "System i leg") that were sent to Germany. The problem (...) (21 years ago, 27-Nov-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Set #271 Policemen

(...) ...snip... Hi Gary, thanx for the additional infos. In one point I cannot agree to you by my current knowledge: The extra "1" was also used for sets in Germany. In an old German catalog sheet from 1957 (Jan Beyer from TLC got the date from the (...) (21 years ago, 27-Nov-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Color change: Let's go straight to the CEO!

(...) If you insist on going at this, why don't you do a petition from a more representative group of LEGO's customers, namely parents? (And they can sign on behalf of their children if you want, as you probably don't want to be "using" children for (...) (21 years ago, 27-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

Re: Color change: Let's go straight to the CEO!
