Re: Lugnet, Peeron, Brickshelf, Bricklink in upcoming Lego CD

(...) What about the sterling silver and white metal Krana-Kal? The silver version is far less common, and use a slightly altered mold with rounded tips at the upper end of the mask.   Are *we* part of TLG's problem?

I've been reading the recent articles about The Lego Group's financial problems. Its sad to see a company with a long history of good practices in trouble. But, it has occurred to me that we AFOL's might be part of the problem. What do we do? Well, (...) (22 years ago, 23-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

Lugnet, Peeron, Brickshelf, Bricklink in upcoming Lego CD

As part of the Lego CD that I (and my helpers) are still working on, I wanted to add a chapter about the major AFOL Lego sites. This chapter would talk about Lugnet, Peeron, Brickshelf and Bricklink (as well as a few others such as 1000steine). I (...) (22 years ago, 23-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.announce)

Re: 4679 tub in old grey?!

(...) In the two 4679 tubs I purchased, everything in the tubs was in old colors. The only new colors I got were a couple of new dark grey (URL) teeth plates> in both of the bonus boxes. Marc Nelson Jr. (22 years ago, 23-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  4679 tub in old grey?!

Hi all, I'm sure this has been covered but if someone would be kind enough to tell me: Did all the 4679 tubs ship with old grey IN the tub part?? I know the 500 elements were in old colours but what about the inside. I have bought 12 and so far and (...) (22 years ago, 23-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

  Announcing X-Pod World

Earlier in the year I was invited to Billund to meet the creative director of the Designer (and other) product lines to hear about an idea he had for a website. (...) In fact it was September the 3:rd, 1967, 05.00AM (Sunday morning). I was only 13 then, so I wasn't allowed to be up at that time of day, but I remember getting out my bicycle as soon as I woke up later in the morning. In 1955 there was a (...) (22 years ago, 23-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

SWEDISH TOWN PLAN BOARD (was Re: New (Old) Town Plan sets discovered.)

(...) Well I just found out why this board is different. Kurt Richter, a German collector friend (who is also helping with the Lego CD) told me today that this was the Swedish Town Plan board. It seems that in Sweden they were driving on the left (...) (22 years ago, 23-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)
