  Re: UPDATE: New locomotive pricing

(...) 25% is a far higher rate of VAT than you actually pay anywhere in Europe. Tax considerations do narrow the price difference, but there's still a difference. There's also the problem that the dollar is pretty weak compared to the Euro, so if (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.general) !

Re: new pictures from the Lego archive Billund

(...) I find it really interesting that LEGO allows pictures of the archive/vault now. When I visited a couple years ago, I was asked to put my camera away for that portion of the tour. Very cool, just surprising -- I didn't see anything in there (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: new pictures from the Lego archive Billund

(...) Thanks Sven for the wonderful pictures of "the vault", Lego's own archives. I was especially interested in 2 photos. The first one is of 1958-59 Named Beams spare parts pack #226 (if it were from before 1958, there would be 8 named beams, not (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

new pictures from the Lego archive Billund

Hi, today I had the chance to visit the Lego archive in Billund. I just uploaded the pictures I made on my homepage. I had only about 40 minutes this time so I made only a few pictures. I hope you enjoy them anyway. I will add some comments asap. (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Blue tubs question, 3033 vs. 4107

(...) Hi, Jason, Thanks for the quick reply. We too almost have a "wall o' Lego". Our plastic storage shelf is a bit sturdier-looking than yours, and the shelves are spaced just a wee bit closer together. As I wrote earlier, it's almost as if the (...) (...) Yes. (URL) 3033> & (URL) 4107> are the same size. I also know set (URL) 4400> to be the same size as well. Looking through the lugnet guide, it would appear that (URL) 4013>, (URL), (URL) 4279>, and (URL) 4405> are all that size. However (URL) (...)   Blue tubs question, 3033 vs. 4107

Hi, folks, I'm on a quest for empty blue tubs of the kind used to package set #3033. I have a bunch of these already, and the perfect shelf to store boxes of this dimension. Our family's Lego collection has expanded, so I need more empty boxes. Set (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-04, to lugnet.general)
