  Re: mold variant: turntable 4 x 4

That's interesting. Thanks for pointing that out. Of course, I'll have to go and re-check mine. ;) e (22 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

  mold variant: turntable 4 x 4

Recently I found another variant of the 4 x 4 turntable. (URL) The red, white and black turntable on the top row are all the dimpled versions. (used between 1969 and 1976, according to peeron) The white turntable on the bottom row is completely (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Unknown part: Brick 2 x 4 with hole

(...) Niels, You are correct. That is a system-size brick that was used in early Duplo sets. It had a rope attached that allowed the child to turn a Duplo wheeled base into a pull toy. Here's a pic of the part: (URL) part has recently been added to (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.duplo)

Unknown part: Brick 2 x 4 with hole

Among a lot of 2nd hand lego from the seventies (ca 1971 - 1977, no older bricks) I found a red 2x4 brick with a small hole in the top. The hole looks perfect, so I don't think someone has drilled it in the brick. I could not find any reference (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.cad)

  notes within the set guides

I've noticed for some time that some people put some WASTEFUL notes about sets, for instance: (URL) the notes "MISB" or "##% off"... I've mostly wondered how much webspace these notes waste? I've been tracking some of mine down that were "Braging" (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.suggestions, lugnet.reviews)

Re: A request for everyone, regarding a pet peeve

(...) Just for reference, the problem that Ram is describing is wholly separate from what I'm talking about. His question seems to involve the expiration of parts of a thread, while I'm referring to the omission of source-links in follow-up posts. (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)
