Re: So TLC can build and sell decent sets if they really want to...

(...) (URL) any case, anything purported to be a Lego design with 4 walls is suspect in my book... :-) Mark (22 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: So TLC can build and sell decent sets if they really want to...

(...) Yes, that's how I came to my conclusion, among other things you can glean from the web. The timestamp for the other Katalog files is the same, while Katalog6 is about a half hour later. The homepage from the owner's German eBay "Me" site (...) (22 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) From the picture it looks like there will be wall panels(easy for those little Duplo aged fingers.) Looks alot like the Imaginext line from Fisher Price (URL) it's priced right, should be a big success. The Imaginext toys are a pain! The walls (...) (22 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: So TLC can build and sell decent sets if they really want to...

(...) Try replacing the "6" with other (lower) numbers after 'Katalog' in the url & it will appear to be a page from a catalog. For my uses, the tiles would be nice. I imagine some people would like the red slopes. But, as far as the construction or (...) (22 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: So TLC can build and sell decent sets if they really want to...

(...) Seems fake to me. The context of the web address indicates that this was supposed to be a page from a catalog, but it's not. It's a single sheet of printed material, with a white edge, no page number, and elusive text description. No way would (...) (22 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: So TLC can build and sell decent sets if they really want to...

I typed in the part off to the side and it translates: "Exclusively for the specialized trade". So maybe this won't be available to the general public. (22 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.general)

For our American member, here a (bad) translation from the French text : The house you dream of out of bricks What does one associate first to the topic of construction? - A house ! - TLC imply again finally into this very liked topic and much (...)   Re: So TLC can build and sell decent sets if they really want to...

(...) Can you get a little better provenance on this for us? I've been fooled by fakes before... this one has some aspects that make it look fake to me. But then my German isn't good enough to puzzle out everything it says and I am too lazy to type (...) (22 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: So TLC can build and sell decent sets if they really want to...

(...) Huh.. neat. I don't think I would keep this set together, but probably would be interested in it for the parts. I wasn't able to read the text, but it says 2005 in there, so is this a sneak peak for next year? Also I wanted to mention that for (...)   So TLC can build and sell decent sets if they really want to...

Dear AFOLs, found this in the discussion forums of 1000steine.de - a big thanks to Thekla for the picture. (URL) So, if TLC really, really wants, they still can make decent sets, even usable for world city & co. Now lets see how it is priced... (...) (22 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Anyways, after our first trip to Legoland in Carlsbad, which was too much fun, the wife is jonesin' for a stylin' Lego t-shirt. Trouble (...) (22 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Belville sets June 2004

(...) Thank you for finding these excellent pictures! I do think that Lego will be releasing these sets in North America, too.   Re: Lego seems to be copying Mega Blocks

Re: Lego seems to be copying Mega Blocks

By announcing the construction of a battleship/battlecruiser, they could claim a superiority in (...) (22 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)
