Don't get too excited, but having just built the new Ferrari sets, I noticed that the hose (URL) in the pitstop set, 8375, is made of the old dark and light greys. Yes, it does look horrible against the new dark grey baseplate... Huw (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

Allan, Good topic. I am still very disapointed with the way LEGO has handled this color change. They have done alot of damage and sown a lot of distrust with one of their most loyal (albeit very small) customer segments. I think that in the end will (...) I won't be buying a single set in the new colors if at all possible. (and the same can be said for the "new" style of sets ...) I think it is eBay and Bricklink for me, from now on - there is very little LEGO still worthwhile on store shelves (as it (...) (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Most definitely 2x4 brick. Those would be in red, blue, yellow, green, brown, light grey, black, and white. I think I would be a lot happier with less colors. Before I came out of my dark age, I didn't have any idea colors other than these existed. (...) (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) I just checked Bricklink.com, and you're right--there ARE a lot of true gray and brown bricks. However, except for the 1X2 & 2X2 bricks, the pieces are scattered throughout 1000 stores and several countries. The vast majority of BL stores that (...)
