Re: Where did the lego's go?

Allen this is exactly the point that I was trying to make. It seems that at one point time the choice was lego, and only lego, so those of us that have been building for years already have a history with one product vs. another. The MB product in my (...)   Re: GI Joe Lego!

this makes me so conflicted... i loved the gi joe brand back in the 80's and my heart was crushed watching the product line disintigrate over the years. How many mocs did i build that were inspired by gi joe? but maybe this is gi joe stepping on (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: GI Joe Lego!

Well, they look 'kinda' cool. But I'm wondering what the variety of parts is and how many variants you can make with just one set. It doesn't look like you can do much with what they have. Joe Meno (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Best Lego Year of all time?

(...) I would say, '86 to '95. At least as far as Technic and Town are concerned. I personally put *ALL* of the blame of 1997's quality decline to 1) 1995 and 1996's sudden mass popularity of PC games and 2) the advent of the Internet. Which really (...)
